Two LBE holsters square off in this Nutnfancy vid: 5.11 LBE versus Tac-Force Webtac holster. As usual the 5.11 item features a decent color, excellent quality, and fair pricing. But in its current form it comes in at distant second to the Tac Force WebTac holster. That TacForce holster is oriented the way I like it, has perfect sizing (for both light-attached and clean handguns), it's high value, it's tough, secure, quickly adjusted, and it's truly universal...fitting just about every handgun I've thrown in it. The 5.11 is bulkier, stuck in vertical orientation, has metal snaps (that will scratch your gun) and hook Velcro inside, has a weak snap, has stiff straps that get in the way, and still requires two hands to secure it. This current 5.11 version is a complete miss and the TacForce wins this bout. ////////////////Nutnfancy Likability Scale 5.11 LBE holster: 4 out of 10; Nutnfancy Likability Scale TacForce Webtac holster: 9 out of 10

May 28, 2011 - Horizontal holsters are not that safe if you ask me. If I am next to somebody and drawing their gun in a high stress situation I'd be alittle worried. I would want the muzzle down. Just me.

Jun 6, 2011 - I like those Tac-Force holsters. They seem to not be in production anymore (they are not on the website). Shame, too, I was wanting one of them. I really like the slim profile, too.I recently bought some Condor gear, the open top AR mag pouches fit my Glock 26 nicely. I can't run that with the other mag in the front--won't fit--but it's a great system.

Jun 9, 2011 - @nutnfancyTac force doesn't make the horizontal molle holster anymore. I'm having trouble finding one similar to it. Do you have any recommendations in that high value price range?

Oct 18, 2011 - Nutnfancy, the OE Tech/Condor quick release holster is the better version of this, it has a double retention strap when needed but still hsa a simple way of getting it out. You might want to check that out. It is a thigh holster however, so therefore not horizontal but I still like it.
Pat5725 Says:
Oct 19, 2011 - @AF20Vids If you look up James MOLLE Horizontal Holster. It's almost similar to the Tac-Force

Dec 6, 2011 - Good review. I don't like the hoop fabric and snap inside the holster. I would buy the holster if they changed these 2 issues however, as I would put the holster on the right side of my vest, fairly low where it would be similar to a hip-mounted holster, and still would be part of a one stop zip-up system. If they changed these issues, would you consider running your system with this pseudo hip-mounted holster, for testing purposes?
